When Standard Stakes Aren’t Enough.

Built for larger plants, exposed gardens, and long-term installations, our Heavy Duty Classic Botanical Markers use a thicker 10 gauge stainless steel stake instead of the standard 13 gauge stake. The heavier post provides additional rigidity and stability in dense soil, high-wind areas, public gardens, raised beds, and landscapes where markers may be bumped by tools, irrigation, pets, or foot traffic.

While our standard 13 gauge stakes are ideal for most home garden use, the 10 gauge upgrade is designed for customers who want a more substantial, commercial-grade feel with increased resistance to bending over time. Heavy Duty markers are especially well suited for mature perennials, shrubs, specimen plantings, botanical collections, and permanent garden installations.
